Learning for Profit
We typically think of our learning years as those spent in traditional educational institutions and yet to be current in business and in life, we must be continually seeking out new knowledge. Learning for Profit is filled with practical thinking on why we must be continually learning and how, in our time-starved lives, we can make room for learning. The author refers to his book as a “skinny book” in which he has removed the fluff and gotten right to the point. It’s a quick read, but one you’ll want to refer to often. A great motivator. I’ve taken many of the ideas, especially how to read a non-fiction book, and put them in place. It’s enabled me to read more, faster and retain more. Great read.
