The Savvy Part-Time Professional: How to Land, Create, or Negotiate the Part-time Job of Your Dreams
This book was very helpful in narrowing down my job selection process. Another resource I used was Part Time Crossing, http://www.PartTimeCrossing.com , to look for a job because, unlike many of its competitor’s sites, Part Time Crossing hosts jobs from only employer websites and supports many more jobs than any other site I have ever used. But do not take my word for it, check out their website for yourself, they helped me find a job which eventually turned into my career.

The book may tell you how to land a part time job but it does not point to available jobs. There are many websites that claim to offer part time jobs but it often remains difficult.[...], they only have jobs from employer websites and offer far more jobs than other job boards.

While the book offers some useful advice, it is really a waste when there is a site like http://www.PartTimeCrossing.com out there. After trying just about every resource out there to find a job, I discovered http://www.PartTimeCrossing.com and was amazed because it has jobs only from employer websites and far more jobs than you will find on other job boards. As far as I’m concerned you can waste your time and money reading every book out there or just go to http://www.PartTimeCrossing.com and find a great job.

This book was filled with ideas and options for someone (like myself) who is looking into part-time work.
This book is well-researched. It is dense and has so much information written in a clear and consise manner. I especially enjoyed the segments about the workers who have made the successful change from full time to part-time.
Thank you, Ms. Berger. I am looking forward to implementing your suggestions into my own job search.
